Quality, benchmarks and recognition
All LCDM qualifications are approved and regulated by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation. Our board and management team combine academics from UK higher education institutions with industry experts, so syllabus content and assessment stay current. Every approved delivery centre passes a rigorous application process before it can teach.
Credibility with employers
Our qualifications are developed around the knowledge and skills employers actually recruit for. Studying with LCDM builds competence in business and management alongside digital specialisms — which supports promotion in your current workplace, or progression onto a Bachelor's, Master's or MBA top-up programme.
Flexible study, unit by unit
Qualifications follow RQF rules and are built from units, each carrying a credit value. That credit value also indicates how long a unit normally takes to prepare for. You can take individual units and build towards a full qualification over time, rather than committing to everything at once.
Study worldwide
Our qualifications are offered through approved centres globally, with a range of delivery options including online and distance learning. In practice, that means you can start when it suits you and finish when it suits you.
A pathway to a UK degree
Because LCDM is regulated by Ofqual, UK universities recognise our qualifications and admit LCDM graduates onto final-year Bachelor's, Master's and MBA top-up programmes. We hold progression agreements with a number of UK universities, which extends to their study centres, partner colleges and overseas campuses.
Affordable by design
LCDM is a not-for-profit organisation, so we work to keep fees as affordable as possible without compromising quality or standards. Taking an LCDM qualification and then joining a university for the final stage of a degree or top-up programme is usually quicker and less expensive than taking the whole programme at the university.

Before you enrol
No. LCDM is the awarding organisation — we write and regulate the qualification, and we verify the assessment. You enrol with an approved centre, which delivers the teaching and carries out the assessment. The certificate you receive is awarded by LCDM.
Yes. Qualifications are built from units under RQF rules, and each unit carries its own credit value. Learners can pursue individual units and gradually build up to a full qualification.
LCDM holds progression agreements with a number of UK universities, and Ofqual regulation is what makes that recognition possible. Individual entry decisions always rest with the receiving university, so confirm the specific requirements of the programme you are applying to.
LCDM does not specify a mode of delivery. Approved centres choose the mode that best suits their learners, and many offer online or distance learning. Check what your chosen centre provides.
All units are assessed internally by your centre and externally verified by LCDM. Qualifications are criterion referenced, so a pass means you have provided evidence against every learning outcome and assessment criterion. See how delivery and assessment work.
